要点解析

1.become link-v 变得；成为

系动词become后要用形容词或名词作表语，例如：

1)He became rich.

他变得富有了。

2) He became ill again, but still he worked at his idea.

他又病倒了，但仍从事他的设想。

3) She became a doctor.

她成为一个医生。

2．change vt．＆ vi．改造；更换

1）These important inventions have all changed the world．

这些重要发明把世界都改变了。

2）We'll change the date to Feb． 28th．

我们要把日期改为2月28日。

3）The hard work changed her．

艰苦的工作改变了她。

4）I've changed my address．

我的地址变了。

5）In autumn the leaves change from green to brown．

4．operate vi．动手术，开刀

注意 operate是不及物动词，"给／为某人动手术"要说 operate on sb.。

1） The doctor wanted to operate．

医生要动手术。

2） He operated on the child and saved his life．

他给这个孩子动了手术，挽救了他的生命。

operate还有"运转"、"操作"等意思，例如：

1）Who operates that machine？

谁开那台机器？

2）The washing machine operates well．

这台洗衣机运转很好。

5. own vt. 所有，拥有

1）This house is mine；I own it．

这所房子是我的；我拥有它（归我所有）。

2）Who owns this shop？

这商店属于谁的？

6．save vt．救，挽救

1） Only socialism can save China．

只有社会主义能救中国。

2） The dog saved the boy's life．

那只狗救了男孩。

7．send vt．派，派遣

1）I couldn't come myself，so I sent my friend．

我本人来不了，所以让我的朋友来。

2）The child was sent to buy some milk．

孩子被派去买些牛奶。

send最常用的意思是"寄送（信件、包裹）"、"发（电报）"。例如：

1）A friend of mine sent me a letter this morning．

2）Just before I left London I sent him a telegram．

3）If you need money，I'll send it．

seno ror意思是"派人去请/叫"，例如：
